Arthurlie picked up another three points in their bid to beat the drop as they came from behind to win at Hurlford on Saturday.
A defeat would have seen the Barrhead club relegated from the Premier Division but goals from Dylan Fletcher and Mark Docherty cancelled out Ross Love’s opener, which means they live to fight another day.
Their future does remain out of their hands, however, as they trail Glenafton Athletic by four points with two matches remaining – and their relegation rivals have a game in hand.
Arthurlie are back in action tomorrow night as they host Hurlford at Dunterlie Park, with kick-off at 7pm, before welcoming recently-crowned champions Beith to town at 2pm this Saturday.
The Barrhead players will also be hoping St Cadoc’s, Cumnock and Darvel can do them a favour by taking points off Glenafton in their final three games.
Arthurlie have lost just once in their last eight matches and also have a Scottish Junior Cup final with Darvel to look forward to next month.
