NEILSTON Football Club have announced their new first team manager.
It comes after the club, earlier today, revealed that interim manager Andy Whiteford would be taking on the role on a permanent basis.
We previously reported the club veteran was hoping to land the top job after Kevin Muirhead stood down at the end of last month.
Now, Whiteford, who had 12 seasons as both a player and a manger at the club, will lead the first team.

In a statement on their social media, Neilston FC said: "We are delighted to announce that current interim manager Andy Whiteford will be the new Neilston First Team Manager.
"We will make a further announcement about Andy's backroom team in due course.
"Andy had 12 seasons as both a player and manager at Brig O'Lea and also many years serving on the committee.
"As a player, he captained the club to a Sectional League Cup and Super First Division League Championship double in season 2005/06 and then went on to manage the team to a Central District First Division League Championship title in season 2013/14."
