Arthurlie suffered a disappointing 3-0 defeat at home to Darvel on Saturday.
The Barrhead team were in action at Dunterlie Park for the first time in nearly two months but the afternoon got off to a bad start as Jordan Moore was played in and slotted the ball past Max Clarke to make it 1-0 to the visitors.
That lead was soon doubled as Moore capitalised on a wayward pass to bag his second after just nine minutes.
The hosts were frantically searching for a way back into the game, with Dylan Dykes coming close when his header was cleared off the line.
Arthurlie were made to pay with 10 minutes to go as Graham Wilson’s cross was deflected into the net to make it 3-0.
The Dunterlie team will hope to bounce back this Saturday as they host Auchinleck Talbot, with kick-off at 1.30pm.
