Before the announcement, Neilston were sitting top of the WoSFL Conference B with 24 points from eight matches.
Last year Arthurlie dramatically pulled out of this season’s WoSFL as the pandemic continued to take its toll on sport.
A statement on Neilston's Twitter said: "Season 2020/21 may now be over but a massive thank you to the players and management who, under very challenging conditions, gave us all something to cheer from October to December last year.
"The only team in the West of Scotland Football League with a 100% league record, eight straight wins out of eight, a +25 goal difference and 31 goals from 10 different players.
"Also thank you to our supporters, sponsors and friends who continued to support us in all sorts of ways.
"We now look forward to going again next season, this time with our fans there too."
