Arthurlie have announced they intend to apply for a place in the new West of Scotland Football League, as well as retaining their Scottish Junior Football Association licence.
The new set-up will see teams start in the sixth tier of the Scottish football pyramid and potentially work their way through the leagues.
Choosing to keep their SJFA license also means the Dunterlie Park outfit will continue to play in the Scottish Junior Cup.
The Lie had hoped to hold an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) to discuss the plans with season ticket holders but restrictions caused by Covid-19 meant this would not be possible.
A club spokesperson said: “The committee see this as an exciting new venture in the club’s history and we look forward to the new challenges that lie ahead, when football can resume.
“In the meantime, everyone please do everything possible to protect yourself and others from Covid-19.”
