WHITECRAIGS continued their assault up the league in front of a strong crowd on Saturday.
In perfect playing conditions the young squad excelled on their away-day in Forfar against Strathmore.
Several new faces were in with Ross Walker, James Henderson, Craig Percival, James Kemp and Gary Emans all promoted from the 2nd XV.
Fraser Campbell also stepped up from the hugely successful under 18s to join the squad.
"Craigs settled early and it only took seven minutes for captain Moffat to break the home defence and score under the posts.
But the home pack did not make things easy and their strong front five meant it was a hard shift for the "Craigs forwards.
After a lull in play a darting run by Little after 20 minutes led to Stevenson scoring in the corner to put "Craigs 12 points up.
In the first period the home side could only muster a solitary penalty despite lots of pressure.
Whitecraigs assured performance continued in the second half when great tactical kicking saw them force their way into the danger zone.
And it was a well taken drop goal from Moffat that got the score board ticking again.
The superior fitness of the visiting forwards was starting to tell and a superb driving maul saw Nick Blamire emerge from the bottom of a heap of bodies to claim a touch down.
And the icing on the cake came when slick passing in the backs saw Stevenson under the posts for the bonus point try and a 27-3 victory.
Head coach Jim Henderson was pleased with the convincing performance and delighted to move up to second in the table.
He said: 'There"s no room for any slip ups - Lenzie, Marr and Hawick YM are all up there fighting for the points and it"ll be a long and hard season.' Whitecraigs - Walker, B. Blamire, Laidlaw, McKelvie, Hunter, J. Henderson, N. Blamire, Pollock, S. Henderson, Little, Kemp, Moffat, Percival, Johnston, Stevenson.
Subs - Emans, Campbell.
