A coffee business is joining forces with a personal trainer to host a Christmas market.
Coffee Roasters Scotland (CRS) and their Bluey van moved to a new central location in Barrhead near the train station, off Carlibar Road, in August.
They are linking up with personal trainer Jamie McCallum who runs neighbouring Jamie’s Gym and Wellness Centre for the event on Sunday, December 8 from 10am to 3pm.
Raymond Kerr from CRS said: “Lets bring a bit of Christmas cheer and spirit to all.
“We have joined with Jamie McCallum to host a Christmas Market this year.
“This will be at our pitch off Carlibar Road very close to Barrhead train station.”
Among the vendors already taking part are those selling personalised gifts, wax melts, candles and Indian food, but Raymond is keen to add some more.
He added: “Are you a butcher, fruit and veg producer? Toys? Soap? Dog treats? Cheese and chocolate? Baker?
“We are looking for a mix of local traders and producers that can bring their own set up (table/gazebo) with the space costing £15 per vendor.”
A total of £10 from each vendor will be given to local charity Nelly Boxes, who donate a range of self- care boxes to those experiencing baby loss as well as organising monthly support groups.
The remaining £5 per charge will go towards the costs of a free Santa's grotto in Jamie’s gym.
All children visiting the grotto will receive a gift from Santa.
Local producers interested in getting involved are asked to email christmasoncarlibar@outlook.com or message either of the businesses on Facebook.
