A series of events will be held in East Renfrewshire on Remembrance Sunday to honour fallen war heroes and veterans.
The commemorations, on November 10, will take place in Newton Mearns, Giffnock, Neilston, and Barrhead.
Royal British Legion Scotland, Newton Mearns branch, will kick off the day by assembling at Fairweather Hall at 10.30am.
They will march off at 10.45am to the war memorial near Mearns Bowling Club, Ayr Road, for a service.
The Association of Jewish Ex-Servicemen and Women will join the Royal British Legion Scotland for a parade, wreath laying, and a short memorial service at Giffnock Newton Mearns Synagogue, Fenwick Road.
The Neilston War Memorial Association invites community members to an act of remembrance in Neilston.
A parade will assemble at 11.45am in Broadlie Road and proceed to the war memorial at 12pm for a short service and wreath laying.
Attendees are encouraged to bring wreaths to lay on behalf of their organisations.
In Barrhead, a parade will gather at 1.50pm outside the United Services Club, marching off at 2pm to Cowan Park for a 2.30pm service.
Two-minute silences will be observed at the events to reflect and remember those who served in the Armed Forces and military personnel from the UK and the Commonwealth.
Provost Mary Montague said: "Remembrance Sunday is an important date in the council’s calendar each year, as it gives us an opportunity to pay our respects to all of those that have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life.
"Alongside remembering the fallen, we also honour our veterans and their families, and express our gratitude, to those who fought in the two World Wars as well as in more recent conflicts.
"It is a privilege to be a representative of the council at events on this date."
