Tesco Glasgow Silverburn Extra will soon have an expanded range of premium pet food and treats.
This is part of the supermarket chain's initiative to revamp a dozen stores in response to the rising demand for premium pet food.
The redesigned aisles will accommodate hundreds of extra ranges, including fresh and frozen pet food, toys, and snacks, catering to all dietary needs and age-specific requirements.
John Hext, pet category buying manager at Tesco, said: "Brits have always loved their pets, but in recent years we’ve seen a real spike in owners wanting to treat their pets at dinner time.
“These pet destination stores are a response to that huge demand we’ve seen for new and exciting pet ranges – from premium fresh and frozen products all the way to Christmas dinner for dogs.”
The new range will focus on cat and dog products, however, items for small mammals, wild birds, and fish will be available at select stores.
Pet owners can also shop for over 20,000 pet products on Tesco's online marketplace.
