A busy Glasgow railway line has been closed amid an ongoing police incident.

ScotRail has said emergency crews are dealing with a situation near the railway between Clarkston and Busby in East Renfrewshire currently.

Due to this, the travel firm has said both lines are closed. Additionally, they have said services between Glasgow Central and East Kilbride - which stop at Clarkston and Busby - are facing delays, alterations, and cancellations.

It is unknown what the incident is, however, we have contacted the British Transport Police for comment.
