Plans have been submitted to extend an existing dog exercise park just outside Barrhead.
The application outlines a proposal to change the use of agricultural land to increase the size of Off the Lead Dog Park by 1.99 hectares.
The proposal, which is currently awaiting decision, was received by the council in May and validated this month.
The park, which is just off Balgraystone Road next to the Dams to Darnley car park, was established in 2020 and currently offers three parks for customers to choose from, all of which are within walking distance of each other.
The new application follows a previous application to considerably increase the size of the park which was submitted late 2023 and withdrawn in April of this year.
