East Renfrewshire Council is holding a jobs fair in Barrhead.
The event will be attended by a wide range of local employers with both contract and permanent recruitment opportunities available.
Led by Work EastRen, the council’s employability service, it is set to take place on Monday, September 2 from 3pm to 6pm on the first floor of the Foundry.
Councillor Danny Devlin, convener for environment and housing, told the Barrhead News: “If you’re looking for work or your next role, this event will be a fantastic opportunity to not only speak with local employers, but also get some tips from Work EastRen staff on how to secure your job."
The employers signed up so far cover a variety of industries including construction, retail, hospitality and care.
As well as employers, Work EastRen will have staff available who can offer advice and support on applying for jobs, tips for interviews, help with CVs, training opportunities and much more.
"We’ve got a great range of employers coming along, so I’d encourage anyone who can, to head along to the Foundry,” added Cllr Devlin.
