Police have arrested an elderly man following a crash in East Renfrewshire.
On the night of Wednesday, July 31, officers received a report of a vehicle collision on Laggan Road in Newton Mearns.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "An 83-year-old male was arrested for failing the roadside breath test.
"He was taken to custody to appear at court at a later date for a drink driving offence."
