The Firs care home has shared its joy after hosting a successful summer fete with a Hawaiian theme.
The residence in Barrhead’s Lowndes Street held the event on Saturday, July 20 and coined in £1,150 for resident funds.
The big day featured everything from a bouncy castle to face-painting, a cake stall, hook duck and lots more.
Singer Robyn Brooks provided the entertainment and those coming along also enjoyed a raffle and BBQ.
Liz Rennie, a carer at the home, told the Barrhead News: “Our manager David Spence and activities coordinator Stephanie Houston and all the staff made it an amazing day for our residents and everyone who came along.
“Everyone had a ball.
“We got amazing raffle prizes from local businesses, and we made an amazing amount for resident funds."
“Barrhead as a whole is amazing community to live in and our wee care home is in the heart of it all," she added.
“There are so many people to thank. We love you all and are very grateful that you support us.”
