A man was arrested for road traffic and drugs offences after police spotted a speeding vehicle in a plush suburb.
Officers observed the motor on Capelrig Road in Newton Mearns early on Saturday, July 13.
Early on Saturday 13th July Police observed a vehicle driving at speed on Capelrig Road.

The vehicle failed to stop for Police and was traced shortly thereafter.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "The vehicle failed to stop for police and was traced shortly thereafter.
"A 22-year-old male was arrested for several road traffic and drugs offences."
