It was party time in Barrhead as East Renfrewshire’s brightest businesses celebrated a year of success.

The annual East Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce Business Awards took place at the Dalmeny Park House Hotel on Thursday night.

It was an opportunity to celebrate a wide range of companies that are helping to put the area on the map and contribute positively to the local economy.

Host for the evening was television and radio presenter Jennifer Reoch, who is a former Miss Scotland.

John F Hamilton, chamber president, said there had been a high calibre of entries again this year, with the judges faced with a difficult task to choose the winners.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank our awards partner East Renfrewshire Council and all of the category sponsors. Without their support, the awards would simply not have been possible.

“The black-tie do was a celebration to remember. We were absolutely blown away by the incredible talent and overwhelming support from the best of East Renfrewshire. Congratulations to all of the finalists.”
