Police have charged a 22-year-old man after clocking a stolen vehicle in Barrhead.
Officers were on patrol on Dovecothall Street at the time of the incident on Monday, May 13.
A male made off the from the vehicle but officers caught up with him thanks to the help of Police Scotland's dogs unit.
Early Monday officers detected a stolen vehicle whilst on patrol on Dovecothall street, Barrhead. On social media, a spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Early Monday officers detected a stolen vehicle whilst on patrol on Dovecothall street, Barrhead.
"A male exited the vehicle and made off from police (and) with assistance of @PSOSDogs we apprehended a 22-year-old male who was charged and held (in) custody for reset, theft of fuel and tools."
