Multiple fire trucks lined the town’s Main Street after a 999 call was made around 4pm last Thursday (April 25).
It is believed that residents were evacuated from the complex while firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze.
A woman was taken to the nearby Royal Alexandra Hospital for treatment, but police have since said that the 79-year-old passed away the following day.
