Plans have been submitted to East Renfrewshire Council to change a shop into a pilates studio.
The proposals are for the retail unit at 45 Mackinley Place in Newton Mearns just outside the Avenue Shopping Centre.
The premises, which are listed on The Avenue's website as to let, are currently home to Taylors of Giffnock, which sells domestic and built-in appliances.
With a long history of serving the community, Taylor's is a fourth-generation business established in 1896, which started off as a building company before moving into white goods in 1950.
The plans, which are yet to be decided on, have been submitted by Bach Design on behalf of Jennifer Barnett of Move with Jen Ltd.
