Residents in an East Renfrewshire village have the opportunity to get their hands on a free fruit tree or fruit bush.
Growing project Incredible Edible Neilston and Propagate, a collective working on sustainable food projects, are giving away the items after receiving cash through participatory budgeting.
Cat Train from Incredible Edible told the Barrhead News: “We received money from the East Renfrewshire Food for Thought participatory budget, so we could buy lots of Scottish fruit trees and bushes to distribute to people in Neilston.”
Those who would like one are asked to fill out a short form at https://forms.gle/2bgkzHVJMM5nyZRx8 by tomorrow, Friday 5 at 7pm.
Paper versions of this form will also be available in Blether, which is based in the old Totnosh building at 103 Main Street, today and tomorrow from 2pm to 4pm.
