Plans to extend an East Renfrewshire school have been pulled by the council.
A planning application was submitted last autumn for works at Crookfur Primary on Capelrig Road in Newton Mearns.
The proposal sought permission for a single storey extension to the school, additional bin store building, engineering works (including platform lift), fencing and gates, as well as the formation of car parking.
A decision on the application issued last month, however, stated that the application had since been withdrawn by the council.
Despite this though, the council said it was "still considering options for this work."
A spokesperson for the local authority said: “Due to rising costs in the construction industry, the council is still considering options for this work at Crookfur Primary School."
