A local favourite is set to re-open its doors with renovations having taken place.
Harelaw Trout Fishery Coffee Shop in Neilston will welcome customers this Friday, March 29, after new owners took over the coffee shop.
Stuart and Donna Dornan took over the business earlier this year from Ross Murdoch, who opened the establishment in 2021.
The cafe, which has been closed recently, will see a number of upgrades such as worktops and decor.

A post on Facebook from the pair last week praised the community for making them feel at home as they detailed their excitement ahead of opening.
It read: "One week tomorrow till opening!!! It’s all starting to come together, it’s been an extremely busy time, good selection of cakes now ordered with chloebakescakess cannot wait to sample some produce.
"Hopefully we’ve ordered something for everyone.
"Thanks to those who have popped in to say hello already, you have made us feel right at home.
"Mastered the art of fire starting and absolutely love the heat from the central focal point.
"Hopefully you guys will see a wee difference when you come to visit.
"Thanks to Ross Murdoch for all your help and advice.
"Just eight more sleeps till the big day, hopefully see you all soon."
The coffee shop will initially operate from 9am to 2pm Friday to Monday but the hours will be extended once the warmer weather arrives.
The new owners are aiming to bring a "few extras" to the menu but stress that they will still have food that people have become accustomed to.
They also said that the place is "all about the customers" and is dog-friendly.
Ross, who now focuses on the fishery side of the business, said that he has been fully booked for the last three weeks.
The manager at Harelaw Trout Fishery says that the village has been "amazing" to him and thanks them for accepting the business over three years ago.
Speaking a few days before the coffee shop opens, he said: "I am delighted that it is opening soon.
"There has been a lot of hard work done and it is exciting to see it all come together.
"Stuart and Donna have done fabulous work and they really have worked hard to refurbish the coffee shop.
"When I opened in 2021 I thought we'd only be selling rolls and sausage to the fishermen but it has grew and grew, both sides of the business.
"The fishery now sees people travel from far and wide and that makes me feel proud that I have helped put Neilston on the map."
