A LOCAL MSP has visited St Luke's High School following its outstanding inspection report.
Tom Arthur's visit came after he wrote to the school and was invited to discuss its accomplishments with the headteacher, Christine Downie, and pupils.
He said: “It’s always a real pleasure to celebrate successes here in Renfrewshire South and I was delighted to meet with Ms Downie to thank her for her strong leadership.
“It is a testament to the hard work of herself and the whole school team that Education Scotland saw fit to write such a glowing inspection report.
“The pupils I met were a reflection of the school ethos and were keen to share their experiences and pride in what St Luke’s has achieved.
“I look forward to the school's many successes that will no doubt come from such a devoted and nurturing environment."
