A teenager stole aftershave worth £900 from a Silverburn store.
Edward Burnside, 19, of Crookston, nicked the items on April 5, 2023, from Flannels.
He appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court this week after he pleaded guilty to the offence.
The procurator fiscal revealed that £600 worth of fragrances were recovered.
His lawyer said at the hearing: "The main problem is that he is currently on petition in Paisley for a similar type of offence.
"It involves a jewellery shop. A significant value of rings was taken from the premises by the accused and another.
"There is also a matter in Falkirk.
"It relates to the same type of offending.
"There is a suggestion for the youth court. That would be the most appropriate place for this young man to be sent."
Sheriff Michael Hanlon adjourned the case for a youth court assessment.
