A popular retailer has closed 'until further notice' after 37 years of business.
Bellini Footwear informed customers that they would be closed as of February 12.
While the Clarkston store is marked as 'permanently closed' on Google results, a spokesperson teased that they could reopen in the future.
They said: "Due to unforeseen circumstances we are closed and will keep you updated when we reopen."
According to their website, the business was first opened in 1987 by Sal and Susie Khoudary and after they retired, it was taken over by a new owner who refitted the shop in 2012.
They specialise in footwear for children and young adults, stocking brands such as Lelli Kelly, Geox, Richter and Superfit.
Customers shared their disappointment, with one writing: "Sad to read this, great wee shop, used them for 16 odd years."
Another said: "Such a shame bought my kids shoes there every year when they were at school."
