A MAN has been arrested after allegedly being caught driving whilst disqualified in Busby.
Officers say they stopped the driver in the village recently.
According to the police, the road user was already disqualified until nearly 2030 for multiple drink driving offences.
During the stop, the 46-year-old man also reportedly refused to provide a sample of breath to officers as they claim he appeared to be drunk.
Following that, he was arrested and charged with multiple offences, while his vehicle was also seized.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Some people will never learn and just keep putting others at risk.
"Glasgow Road Policing stopped this car earlier tonight and found the 46-year-old male driver was disqualified and appeared drunk."
