Scottish Water has provided an update on the impact of a burst pipe in East Renfrewshire earlier today.
This morning the water supplier warned that while they repair the pipe in Neilston's Wellpark Lane, customers may experience no water supply, low/intermittent pressure, or discoloured water.
An update on this situation was expected this afternoon, but information on the incident has since been removed from SW’s website.
The supplier took the decision to do so as “only one property has been affected by an interruption to normal water supplies.”
The latest on the situation is that a tree had to be removed before the team could begin the repair.
It is now believed that this has been removed and the repair is getting underway.
