Update: Scottish Water has decided to remove this warning from their website as only one property has been affected by an interruption to normal water supplies.
Scottish Water (SW) is working on repairing a burst water pipe in East Renfrewshire which is causing an interruption to the water supply for some customers.
The water pipe affected is located on Wellpark Lane in Neilston.
SW has warned that while they carry out the repair, residents may experience no water supply, low/intermittent pressure, or discoloured water.
The latest update from the publicly-owned water supplier said: "We don't have a time for the repairs and have run into difficulties as a tree has come down in the storm.
"We are arranging to put in an overland pipe and will arrange to deliver bottled water to those affected.
"The water supply will gradually return to normal for customers once the repair has been completed.
"We expect it will take up to two hours for all customers to have normal water supply restored."
