THE Glasgow to Barrhead train line is OPEN as the first service leaves the station.
The rail line was closed from 7pm yesterday after ScotRail ceased all trains across the country due to Storm Isha.
Now, the first train has left the station with the 11am Glasgow to Barrhead moving.
Winds of up to 70/80mph were reported across the country, with an amber weather warning in place until 6am this morning.
A yellow weather warning remains in place until 12pm with winds still expected to be strong.
All passengers are advised by ScotRail to check their journey before travelling.
