A MAN was arrested after two vehicles were damaged in a Barrhead street.
It is also alleged that the 36-year-old suspect punched a police officer who had been sent to the scene.
The disturbance took place in Aurs Drive at around 8pm on Friday.

Police said damage was caused to a Land Rover Discovery and a Ford Transit van.
A spokesperson told the Barrhead News: "At about 8pm on January 12, officers were dispatched to a disturbance in Aurs Drive, Barrhead, where vehicles had been damaged.
"A 36-year-old man was arrested at the scene.
"He subsequently punched a police officer in the face.
"A report of the allegations will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
