A significant stretch of a residential road in East Renfrewshire is to close for a maximum of three days later this month.
Greenwood Road in Clarkston will be shut from its junction with Carolside Avenue up to property number 65 from Monday, January 22 to Wednesday, January 24.
The closure will be in effect between 9am and 6pm on these dates.
It will allow for the safe operation of Scottish Water ironworks repairs on or near the road.
All vehicles except those associated with the works and emergency vehicles attending an incident will be subject to the restriction.
Pedestrian access will be unaffected.
As an alternative route drivers will be able to go from Greenwood Road to Mearns Road, Benview Road, Busby Road, Eaglesham Road and Greenwood Court, and from Greenwood Court to Eaglesham Road, Busby Road, Mearns Road and Greenwood Road.
