EAST Renfrewshire Council has launched a new initiative encouraging people to start new group projects.
Spearheaded by the Bringing Busby Together Participatory Budgeting Steering Group, the local committee is looking for ideas from people in Busby that could be turned into reality.
The funding initiative is set to launch on Monday, January 15.

Any project that is put forward to the council has to benefit the local community and could be awarded anywhere between £250 and £1500 to kickstart the idea.
Drop-in sessions about the initiative will be held at Busby Library on Saturday, January 20, between 11am and 1pm and Wednesday, January 24, between 3pm and 5pm.
Applications can be filled out online or a form can be collected from the Busby Library.
