COMMUNITY councils from across the area are on the hunt for new members.
It comes after East Renfrewshire Council announced on social media that Barrhead, Uplawmoor, Eaglesham and Waterfoot and Busby community councils are looking for new members.
According to the local authority, serving as a community councillor is a "great opportunity" to act as the "voice" of the area.
For those interested, the recruitment process will start in January.

A spokesperson for ERC said: "Barrhead, Uplawmoor, Eaglesham and Waterfoot and Busby community councils are seeking new members.
