Neilston will soon be getting into the festive spirit with the return of its Christmas lights switch on.
The event is due to take place on Sunday, December 3 and will feature market stalls, treats and Santa in the parish church halls from 4pm.
Community singing led by the community choir will take place from 5pm plus "goodies from local businesses."
The parade will then be led by Neilston Pipe Band from the war memorial at 5.15pm, with the lights switch on with Santa taking place at the tree at 5.30pm.
The Christmas market will close at 6.30pm.
The event has been organised by Neilston War Memorial Association, Neilston Parish Church, St Thomas RC Church and friends.
Donations to East Renfrewshire Foodbank will be welcome at the church halls.
