A MAN was allegedly stabbed during a late-night attack on a busy road in Clarkston at the weekend.
It comes after officers raced to Clarkston Road following a report of a serious assault at around 11pm on Saturday, November 4.
It is understood a 29-year-old man was reportedly stabbed during the disturbance.
He was rushed to hospital for treatment.
Now, cops have said a 31-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
He is set to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 11pm on Saturday, November 4, police were called to Clarkston Road following the report of the serious assault of a 29-year-old man.
"He was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
“A 31-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident, and is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, November 6, 2023.”
