A thug attempted to torch a car on a residential street, sparking a police probe.
Around 1am on October 9, an attempt was made to set a white Volkswagen Beetle on fire.
Officers were called to the scene at Sunnyside Drive in Clarkston and enquiries remain ongoing.
The force is pleading with anyone who may have witnessed the attack to come forward.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "About 1am on October 9, 2023, an attempt was made to set fire to a white Volkswagen Beetle on Sunnyside Drive Clarkston.
"Witnesses are sought; anyone with information is urged to call 101 quoting incident 0175 of 09/10/23."
