A DRIVER in Barrhead has had his motor seized by cops for allegedly having no licence or insurance.
It comes after a 29-year-old man was stopped by officers in the town on Wednesday, October 11, at around 1pm.
Following it, police say the driver was found to have no car insurance or a driver's licence.
His car was then taken to the pound, while he was taken into custody.
Cops have since confirmed he was arrested and charged in connection with alleged road traffic offences.
He was released on an undertaking to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court at a later date.

A spokesperson for the force said: "About 1pm on Wednesday, October 11, this car was stopped in Barrhead.
"The photo is of the sombre moment the 29-year-old male driver and his car parted ways, as he had no licence or insurance.
"The car went to the pound, and he went to custody."
