BURGER King has revealed its new store in Barrhead will be open before the end of the year.
It comes after we previously reported the major fast-food chain was on the hunt for staff for the new eatery.
Now, the burger joint has confirmed that its new restaurant at the retail park will be opening this year.
However, an official opening date for the venue is yet to be announced.
A spokesperson for Burger King told the Barrhead News: "We can confirm that a new site will be opening in Barrhead this year.
"We're excited to open a restaurant in the area."
The takeaway is just one of the many companies to call the new £16m retail park at the site of the former Nestle Purina factory home.
B&M, Starbucks, Bayne's the Bakers, Popeyes, Card Factory, and Lidl are some of the retailers to already have opened stores in the area.
