EAST Renfrewshire's MP Kirsten Oswald has been selected to stand in the next general election again.
It comes after it was confirmed that Ms Oswald has been chosen as the SNP's candidate for the local authority.
The election, which must be held before January 2025, is widely expected to be held next year.
The politician was voted into parliament in 2019 with 44.9% of the vote.
Kirsten Oswald MP said: "I am delighted to have been re-selected as the Scottish National Party candidate for East Renfrewshire for the forthcoming general election.
"It is the privilege of my life to be the MP for my local community. I work hard every day with my fantastic team to represent East Renfrewshire's vibrant and diverse communities.
"The cost-of-living crisis is my number one priority."
