A SAFETY warning has been issued to residents following the electrification of the Barrhead to Glasgow railway line.
Rural Watch Scotland, on behalf of Network Rail, is reminding locals of the danger of the line.
It comes after the firm said they are advising communities that the overhead lines are "live and dangerous" - as they carry 25,000 volts of electricity.
They said by reminding residents of this, they hope to highlight the changes to the railway environment and the potential dangers posed by trespassing or playing near the line.
