The remaining shows on Russell Brand’s Bipolarisation tour have been "postponed" following allegations of rape, assault and emotional abuse.
The 48-year-old has been accused of rape, assault and emotional abuse between 2006 and 2013, when he was at the height of his fame working for the BBC, Channel 4 and starring in Hollywood films.
The Metropolitan Police are now investigating Brand after receiving a report of an alleged sexual assault in the wake of the media allegations about the comedian and actor.
Brand has strongly denied the allegations, which also include claims of controlling, abusive and predatory behaviour.
The Met police have said they received a report on Sunday of an alleged sexual assault from 2003 following @channel4dispatches and @TheTimes investigation about Russell Brand.

Metropolitan Police investigating Russell Brand after sexual assault allegations
The Metropolitan Police said in a statement on Monday that they had received an allegation of sexual assault in 2003.
The force said: “On Sunday September 17, the Met received a report of a sexual assault which was alleged to have taken place in Soho in central London in 2003.
“Officers are in contact with the woman and will be providing her with support.
“We first spoke with The Sunday Times on Saturday September 16 and have since made further approaches to The Sunday Times and Channel 4 to ensure that anyone who believes they have been the victim of a sexual offence is aware of how to report this to the police.”
Russell Brand postpones remaining tour dates
Russel Brand was due to perform three more shows in the UK this month as part of his Bipolarisation tour.
These shows were at:
- Theatre Royal Windsor, Berkshire - Tuesday, September 19
- The Pavilions, Plymouth - Friday, September 22
- The Civic At The Halls, Wolverhampton - Thursday, September 28
These three tour dates have now been postponed amid the allegations being levelled at Brand.
Promoters for Brand's show at The Theatre Royal Windsor released a statement following the show being postponed.
The statement read: "We are postponing these few remaining addiction charity fundraiser shows, we don’t like doing it – but we know you’ll understand.”
The BBC say they are "urgently looking into the issues raised" by allegations about Russell Brand in the #C4Dispatches documentary, Russell Brand: In Plain Sight.
