A company providing a range of care services has received an award based on feedback on a national reviews website.
Home Instead Renfrewshire and Barrhead (HIRB) has been named one of the top 20 care companies in Scotland on homecare.co.uk and is part of the top 3% of home care companies in the region.
The firm made it onto the impressive list out of 777 home care companies, winning the award for the second time.
Paul Armstrong, owner of HIRB, said: “It’s an absolute honour to win this award yet again.
“It goes to show that the dedication of our care professionals has remained strong.
“We welcome open and honest feedback from clients and their families, and it’s so heart-warming to receive overwhelmingly positive reviews.
“We look forward to continuing to provide exceptional care to the community.”
HIRB provides a wide range of care services, including personal care such as help with dressing and bathing, dementia care and companionship care.
The reviews are given by people that Home Instead cares for, plus their loved ones.
HIRB made it to the top list thanks to its impressively high review score of 9.9.
One homecare.co.uk review from a family member of a client of HIRB said: “This is a fantastic company, and all the carers are so kind and go above and beyond for my mum.
“So glad my mum has this company coming in to look after her. It gives me peace of mind while I am at work. They care for all of their clients holistically.”
Amanda Hopkins, reviews manager of homecare.co.uk, said HIRB had shown that it provides care of the “highest quality” and congratulated it on being “one of the top home care providers in Scotland.”
“Top quality home care is vital as it enables people to continue living in their own homes and to keep their independence,” she added.
“People who are less mobile due to illness, a disability or age can become hidden from society so their home care worker can play a crucial role in keeping them both mentally and physically well.
“Our reviews are by those who receive home care as well as their family and friends. This helps others to search for the right care provider, where compassion, trust and empathy are at the heart of their care.”
The company is looking for caring people to join its team and become a care professional.
New recruits don’t necessarily need previous sector experience.
The most important attributes they say are a kind heart and the desire to make a difference.
