TWO motorists have been caught allegedly using their mobile phones while driving in East Renfrewshire.
It comes after officers were clamping down on road traffic offences across the area over the weekend.
While carrying out patrols two vehicles were detected with no valid MOT, while two drivers were caught using their phones.
Cops are now urging road users to keep their motors safe and always pay full attention to the road.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Over the weekend our officers have been tackling road traffic offences, with two vehicles being detected with no MOT and two drivers using their mobile phones.
“Please keep your vehicle safe and roadworthy and pay full attention to the road.”
