A heritage class is offering residents the chance to explore an East Renfrewshire town and its hidden underground history.
Led by local historian, Dr Stuart Nisbet, those coming along to the event will discover not only the better-known story of Giffnock’s famous sandstone but also the forgotten tales of its other minerals.
The class will take place at Giffnock Library on Tuesday, September 19 from 10am to 12pm.
