RESIDENTS across East Renfrewshire are being urged to nominate local health and social care heroes for the Scottish Health Awards 2023.
The event, which is run by the Daily Record and in partnership with NHS Scotland, and the Scottish Government, celebrates NHS staff, support workers, volunteers, and specialist teams who go above and beyond to provide care and support patients and their families.
This year’s categories include the ‘Doctor Award’, the ‘Midwife Award’, the ‘Global Citizenship Award’ and many more.
Nominations are open until Sunday, August 13, at 11.59pm.
The winners will then be announced at the awards ceremony at the O2 Academy in Edinburgh on November 2.
