A ROAD in Giffnock which has been closed for one year has officially reopened.
Braidholm Road has been shut since Monday, June 27, 2022, to allow Scottish Water to carry out essential works in the area.
As part of the work, the water firm has invested in a major project to help reduce the risk of sewer flooding in the area by installing a new offline underground storage tank.
Sharing the reopening news, East Renfrewshire Council said: “After a year-long closure due to essential Scottish Water works, Braidholm Road has now reopened to traffic.
