John Lydon, the frontman and lyricist of the Sex Pistols, is to take centre stage at an East Renfrewshire venue next year.
The music icon, otherwise known as Johnny Rotten, will bring his spoken word show ‘I Could Be Wrong, I Could Be Right’ to Eastwood Park Theatre (EPT), in Giffnock, on Saturday, June 15, 2024.
The show is part of a pyrotechnic, one-off UK tour, by the showman who changed the face of music and sparked a cultural revolution.
It will give an insight into his extraordinary career and provide an opportunity for audience questions.
Moira McFadden from EPT said: "We're excited to announce John Lydon's spoken word show will come to Eastwood Park Theatre next year, where he will give insight into his unique and extraordinary career and share his thoughts with our audience.
"A number of high-profile names feature as part of our 50th-anniversary celebrations this year, including Lulu, Marti Pellow, Martin Kemp, Paul Young and Gareth Gates.
“It's fantastic to see this set to continue, with John the first act confirmed for our 2024 programme."
Tickets will be on sale from 10am tomorrow (Friday, June 2) at https://www.ercultureandleisure.org/events/john-lydon/.
