A BUSBY pub which was named the best in East Renfrewshire as part of this years National Pub & Bar Awards has been praised following their achievement.
We previously reported that The Cartvale was recognised among 94 county winners from across the UK and could go on to also be crowned one of the 15 regional winners or the UK’s best.
To highlight their achievement, Kirsten Oswald MP presented the pub with an Early Day Motion which she tabled at Westminster after she recently visited the venue.
Kirsten said: “I was delighted to visit the Cartvale to present the staff with an Early Day Motion I tabled at Westminster to highlight their recent success as part of the Pub and Bar Magazine’s awards.
“It is easy to see why the Cartvale made the shortlist, it’s a brilliant venue with fantastic staff and a great atmosphere.
“Our local businesses in East Renfrewshire play a vital role in our communities.
“I wish all the staff at the Cartvale the very best of luck ahead of the grand final award ceremony in June.”
The grand final for the awards is being held in London on June 28.
