A MAJOR retailer has announced its official opening date for their new Barrhead store and garden centre.
B&M have said their brand new shop in the town’s new retail park will open its doors at 8am on Saturday, June 17.
The retailer has also said they will be creating 45 jobs for the local area.
We previously reported B&M would be opening in the shopping outlet.
It is just one of the many companies opening at the new £16m retail park, at the site of the former Nestle Purina factory.
The new bargain store will stock a wide variety of branded groceries, including a range of food, drink, and pet food, and it will also sell health and beauty products, homeware, toys, and much more.
Additionally, it will feature a garden centre.
A spokesperson from B&M said: “We’re feeling extremely positive about the creation of more jobs for local people, and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store.
“We are all really excited to get the doors open and welcome our new customers through the door.”
