ScotRail have confirmed the Glasgow Central to Neilston line has fully reopened following a road crash.
Announcing the news, the rail operator has said services may still be subject to delay, revision or cancellation as they focus on getting trains and crews back into position.
The line was closed briefly following a road vehicle crash, where Network Rail claimed a “lorry struck a bridge at Williamwood.”

In a social media post confirming the reopening, ScotRail said: “The line has now reopened, however services may still be subject to delay, revision or cancellation as we focus on getting trains and crew back into position.”
📣Frustratingly we've another incident this morning. A lorry has struck a bridge at Williamwood, so we've had to close the line until the bridge has been examined. We're sorry for the inconvenience this will cause.

Network Rail also confirmed the line has been reopened following checks of the bridge.
They said: "The bridge has been checked and it's now safe for the line to reopen."
